| ...where
I was building my dream home and there in,
my dream reef. This is where you come in.
In fact this is where you already are. |
| Hopefully,
you'll find this site very easy to
navigate. I'm basically a computer
Neanderthal and I can do it (well most of
it, but my web designer says that even the
parts I couldn't figure out would be
simple to anyone born after, say, dirt).
A few words of warning though: This site
is VERY graphic intensive so if you're
on dial up, start downloading now if you'd
like your kids to see it. It's also
very big so don't try to get through
it all in just one sitting. View it in installments.
It's not going anywhere. Also, you
may have noticed that we don't take
ourselves too seriously here. The animals
and their care, I DO take very seriously,
but if you don't know the Latin name
of every single organism and it's body
parts right now, you're still welcome
here. |
I'm
still learning and I've been around
so long, a lot of the names I had to learn
are from creatures that are extinct now
(Not my joke. Directed at me, yes, but
not mine, thanks.). |
| Anyhow,
if you'd like to contact me with comments,
and suggestions that are NOT insulting, You'll
find my e-mail address right here: info@moyesreef.com |

|
Otherwise,
enjoy the tank and thanks again for coming. |
| P.S.
Please stop by and check the "Credits" section,
which is listed under "MISC,".
That's where all the dry technical
stuff is regarding this site. Also the "Links" section,
if ya wanna lil' piece. |
| P.P.S.:
All of the RECENT images on this site were
taken with Canon equipment, both with conventional
cameras (Eos-1N, Eos 1N RS) then scanned
through a Nikon 4000 ED, and with digital
Cameras (Eos D30, Eos D60, G2). Lenses used
ranged from 14mm to 180mm. Other equipment
included flash (occasionally) ,Gitzo tripods,
and Photoshop 6 or 7.Some of the images may
have less than ideal sharpness, contrast
and/or distortion. This is in no way due
to the equipment (or the photographer) rather,
it is due to both the equipment AND photographer
having to shoot through 1" thick acrylic
that is over 7 years old. It's like
shooting through the window of a city bus. |
P.P.P.S.:
It is fully my intention to frequently
update this site. It is also fully my intention
to go out and have a life now. So while
things probably won't change daily,
it may still be worth it to check back
every few weeks for updates and the incorporation
of information I'll hopefully get
from you. Thanks. MGM |
