| "Now, THIS is what I'm talkin' 'bout! Currently the diameter a small dinner plate, this is one of the oldest, best documented, and IMHO most elegantly beautiful acro in the tank. And oh yeah, as God is my witness, I have no idea where it came from. I do remember it as a tiny grey speck on the LR that I would've totally ignored had it not been for the faint electric blue ring around it's base. I also remember being excited that "something was growing out of the live rock". What I don't remember is having put an earlier acro in it's place long enough for it to leave behind some... material. So is this a more common occurrence than I think; something spontaneous just growing out of the rock like this? I sure hope not as that'll only make me wonder what other beauties I might've buried under these crummy store bought corals." | |||
