"Okay. So it's NOT the best
looking acro in the world. One thing I admire about it though is it's
tenacity. You see, when I acquired it, it was almost pure white with very
faint bluish tips. I had a hunch that when it colored up, it might be
kinda special. So I bit. Now, I could get a bit defensive here and ask, "How
many of YOU guys have a combination Army green and bright blue acro encrusting
the back of your tank?" But I'll
be honest; it was a little disappointing to see the colors of this one
come in. Right now, it has been relegated to a pretty inaccessible spot
in the tank
photographically speaking, since it's almost totally blocked from view by
the 'Chinchilla'. Hence, the overhead shot. But ever the optimist, I'm truly
hoping that one day this "Ugly Duckling" will become a swan in
my tank and call...no, demand to be seen." |
