"Ever get a song stuck in your head that just won't stop no matter what you do to distract yourself? For me, it's usually Disney's "It's A Small World After All". But not now. Now, and I swear to you this is true, in my head, I'm hearing Luciano Pavorotti sing "Oh, Scolymia" to the tune of "Oh, Solo Mio"... over and over again. So I guess this'll be the last one of the night. Anyway, I've had this little guy for a couple years now. At first, it got moved around a bit as no one around here really knew the best conditions for this Genus. Finally, deciding that as a close relative to Cynarina maybe it's requirements were somewhat similar, I found a little niche around midtank and tucked it back in there. It seems to be healthy although it hasn't shown any real growth yet. It has never caused me any problems and has never been target fed. Good night."

"Okay, I'm a little better now, thanks for asking. Anyhow, this is one of the pieces I've been waiting to get to because, quite honestly, I haven't the faintest idea of what it is. I put it here because it was listed as a "Siamese Twin Scolymia" (I kid you not) and since I'd never seen one before or since, I didn't know where else to put it. It's about the size of a tennis ball and at night, it's twin mouths become ringed with polyps. It seems to really like dimmer indirect light. It's an incredibly cool piece. I've had it since early '00. Is this Scolymia? I'd really like to know. More pictures upon request."
