Tank
update: LPS (cont.) |
Lobophyllia Go!
No real changes. I removed some of the advancing zoanthids to give it more space.
|
Pectinia Go!
No changes. Has grown onto the rock supporting it. |
Scolymia Go!
No changes. Fighting off the mushrooms around it. |
There
were no new additions
|
|
Capnella Go!
Had to remove BOTH specimens as my Sohal continued to find them irresistible
as a snack food. |
Lobophytum Go!
No changes. |
Sinularia Go!
This piece is really growing quickly and will have to be cut back. |
There
were no new additions |
|
In addition to the Ventralis
episode outlined in the Refugium
sub section, there have been
a few more changes and additions
in this category. There have
also been a couple of Ids!
|
Anthias Go!
No new additions…at least none that made it to the tank anyway. On
a positive note however, the Unidentified Anthias has been identified as
an unusual color morph of a female P. squamipinnis by both Bruce Mewhinney
and Mike "Kahuna Tuna" Hahn. |
Butterfly Go!
I now have a Copperband Butterfly. I purchased it from The Marine Center
in early Feb. '03 to continue the job of eating Aiptasia that my
Heniochus had begun. Obviously, I had my trepidations about this fish.
I understand they can be hit and miss, fragile, and fussy. I also know
that if I get lucky, they can be personable, intelligent, and an Aiptasia's
worst nightmare. It's too early to know yet. It had a pretty shaky
time in my refugium though; cloudy eye, stopped eating for a couple days,
sore on it's side. Pulled through though. So maybe I WILL get lucky.
Check him out . |
Chromis Go!
No changes. I DID have four last time, right? |
